Il programma nel dettaglio

Your South Coast adventure starts with a morning Reykjavik pick up. From Reykjavik you will drive along the stunning south coast of Iceland, through charming little villages and stunning landscapes passing Hellisheidi Geothermal Power plant. The first stop of the day will be at the unique Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Best known for the fact that you can walk behind the cascading fall, enjoying it from both sides. Next up is neighbouring Skogafoss waterfall. This mighty fall is simply stunning, surrounded by fascinating landscape so make sure to bring your camera along!

After admiring two of Iceland’s most visited attractions you will make your way to the small colourful village of Vik I Myrdal where you will have a lunch break with views over the powerful sea.

After Vik it is time for the famous Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon and its neighbouring Diamond beach. The lagoon has been a popular film location for many Hollywood movies such as James Bond and Batman Begins over the years which should not come as a huge surprise. The floating ice bergs on the lagoon are simply a magical sight. An experience you will definitely not forget! During the summer months from May to September you can even choose to enjoy an optional boat ride on the lagoon for a small fee to get closer to the icebergs. After admiring the lagoon and strolling along the Diamond beach you will start making your way back to Reykjavik stopping first at Skaftafell nature reserve located under Europe’s largest glacier Vatnajokull.

Your last stop before arriving back in Reykjavik will be at the famous black sand beach of Reynisfjara. Reynisfjara is a phenomenal location with its volcanic black sand and basalt columns. Creating a very dramatic setting perfect for taking unique photos to bring back to friends and family at home.
