Il programma nel dettaglio

Come and discover the heartland of Catalonia in this morning tour of the Penedes region. This area has been associated with wine since the times of the Romans. You'll find rolling countryside, dotted with lush vineyards and mediaeval farmhouses. We'll visit a famous Bodega where you can try some of the region's fine wine and then explore the beautiful old village of Sant Marti Sarroca with its atmospheric castle and Romanesque church.

The tour starts with a visit to Bodegues Torres at Pacs del Penedes. After a guided tour of the winery, you will have the opportunity to try some of the wines produced at this prestigious Bodega and then tour the vineyards where the grapes are grown.

Then we'll continue through rolling countryside, passing picturesque hamlets and old stone farmhouses, heading for the charming small town of Sant Marti Sarroca. You'll have plenty of time to explore this ancient settlement, with its many tiny houses and cobbled streets huddled around a great rock. Don't miss the atmospheric 10th Century castle and the beautiful Romanesque church of Santa Maria. From the summit you'll enjoy stunning views over the surrounding countryside with the magical mountain of Montserrat looming in the distance.
