It will come into direct contact with the native population of the town of Cartagena African fishermen and into the culture of the local people. Learn from their hand typical rhythms and steps of champeta (local dance), walk the sandy streets talk to neighbors, visit the home of fishermen, visiting typical restaurant (fish soup, coconut rice, fish portion, fried plantains and salad) waterfront, then reach the dock of the Canoes and enter the mangroves to the where the birds are sighted.


Points of interest:

Native guide, folk dance workshop and champeta local instructor (in the house of culture, main street or dock canoes), Caribbean drumming. Walk down the main street to the restaurant facing the typical lunch (fried plantains, coconut rice, fish soup, salad and serving of fish), rest by the sea. Walk in the afternoon visit home of fishermen, catholic church, school, the bony kiosk, then walk along the beach to the pier. Canoe tour through the mangroves.



Meeting/pick-up point: Pick up at the hotel.

Duration: 7 hours.

Start/opening time: From Monday to Sunday at 9am.

Languages: English and Spanish.

Others: Restrictions: No previous physical preparation required. Don´t do this activity if you are under the influence of alcohol or any hallucinogen drug. You are responsible for your medical prescriptions to prohibit activities of this type.
