Join our tour through the Historical Centre of Amsterdam. Walking this route you will get to know the history, culture, architecture and some curious facts about the city.Definitely a must visit which will provide you with useful information that will help you make the most out of your stay.
From the train station we will head towards where the city harbour used to be.
In our way through the oldest neighbourhood, in a unique environment we will find the Old church or Oudekerk.
We will walk through Amsterdam's ""Chinatown"", full of amazing colours, original souvenir shops and exotic food restaurants, including a visit inside the Buddhist temple.
De Waag is one of the best preserved medieval buildings in Amsterdam. Back in the 15th century it used to be part of the city wall.
Dam square is still the heart of the city, and there we will find some of the most important buildings, such as the Royal Palace or the National Monument to Liberation.
Crossing through the Historical Museum of Amsterdam, we will reach the unique Begijnhof. Still a very peaceful place isolated from all noise around it.
Meeting/pick-up point: I Amsterdam Visitor Centre, Stationsplein 10, in front of Train Central Station.
