Il programma nel dettaglio

Discover a glittering city, walk a path through thin air and stand above the clouds with this magical combo tour of Vancouver and the North Shore. This full-day excursion shows just what one of the world's most liveable cities has to offer, from sunny beaches and the buzz of urban life, to the mysterious rainforest and rocky peaks of the North Shore.

Start by exploring the city’s rainforest oasis, the lush and historic Stanley Park. This thousand-acre wonderland, bordered on three sides by the placid Pacific, has been inhabited for at least 3,000 years by indigenous coastal peoples and contains thousands of species. Stop at the totem poles for a photo opportunity and to admire the views of Downtown. Next, take in some culture at the Vancouver Art Gallery and discover British Colombia through the eyes of Emily Carr, a local artist who became a Canadian icon.

Then, head north to the Capilano Park and cross the world’s longest suspension footbridge, which hangs 70 metres above the river canyon, among the tops of the lofty Douglas firs. Experience life in the canopy with the Treetop Adventure, and ‘hang out’ over the Capilano Canyon itself on the new cliff walk, enjoying 360° views of the lush rainforest and river below. Finally ascend Grouse Mountain, 1,100 metres (3,700ft) above the city, to enjoy breathtaking views of Vancouver. Depending on the season, sleigh rides, ice-skating, or a lumberjack show are all on offer, or visit the grizzly bears at the Refuge for Endangered Wildlife to learn more about the kings of the Canadian wilderness. Uncover a world of adventure on your doorstep with the North Shore and city tour combo.
