Discover the magic of New York at Christmas time on this bus tour taking in Brooklyn’s famous Christmas lights. Explore Dyker Heights, the Italian-American section of Brooklyn, which is legendary for its festive homes complete with animatronic toys and motorized displays, glowing nativity scenes and 30 foot tall toy soldiers. The area was made famous in the PBS documentary “Dyker Lights” and featured on TLC’s “Crazy Christmas Lights”. The tour includes a spectacular video montage of Christmas specials and variety shows throughout the years to put you in the festive spirit.


Everyone loves Christmas but each festive season there is one district that goes that extra mile to truly demonstrate it! Dyker Heights’ incredible display of lights and decorations has gained fame worldwide and is truly a sight to behold each December. With houses covered from floor to roof in glowing Santas, reindeer, elves and much more, it is a truly magical sight for both children and adults to behold. Drive past these monuments to the Christmas spirit as each house looks to outdo its neighbors and show their festive cheer in more extravagant ways.


A nostalgic audio-visual program featuring a video montage of Christmas specials and variety shows throughout the years will get you into the Christmas mood, including the Colgate Comedy Hour, Frank Sinatra with Bing Crosby, Andy Williams, Sonny & Cher and much more.


Meeting/pick-up point: In front of the Liquiteria Juice Bar on the corner of East 13th Street and 4th Avenue in the Union Square area of Manhattan.
