Il programma nel dettaglio

See inside the world's most recognisable sails on this tour of the emblematic Sydney Opera House and learn about the dramatic world of Australia’s premier performing arts centre.

Be inspired by this truly mesmerising work of art and UNESCO World Heritage Site. As you arrive at the Sydney Opera House, you will see how this icon of the city stands in full glory against a backdrop of the Sydney Harbour.

Sydney Opera House came into existence against impossible odds in 1973 to become one of the busiest performing arts centres in the world. Designed by Danish architect Jorn Utzon, this thriving cultural centre features several performance venues all under one roof. It plays host to Australia’s leading performing arts companies such as Opera Australia, The Australian Ballet, the Sydney Theatre Company and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Working with a new interactive audio-visual component that projects images onto the very fabric of the building, our guides will reveal to you an emotional journey. You will be captivated by the Opera House’s engrossing story that rivals any opera plot with its dramatic twists and turns. You’ll gain an understanding of its intricate and controversial history as well as the details of its unique architectural design.

In this miracle of architecture and engineering you will discover how some 1500 performances in every genre imaginable are staged each year to audiences of around a staggering 1.5 million. Taking its place as one of the wonders of the modern world, this tour of Sydney Opera House is an unforgettable experience that should not be missed by anyone visiting Sydney.
