Go on a journey into the history of Valencia on this fascinating and fun tour by Segway. Your expert guide will lead you back through over 2,000 years of history as you glide down the narrow streets of this ancient city. Learn about the essence of Roman and Muslim Valencia and travel on through the medieval, Baroque and modern town on a Segway, surely one of the most comfortable and fun ways to explore this gorgeous city!

The Segway really is simplicity itself to ride, as you find out yourself once you’ve jumped aboard. After taking a few practice spins, you’ll be ready to explore Valencia in style!

Starting in central Valencia, you’ll cruise around the maze of narrow streets and alleys around the Torres Serranos, part of the ancient medieval walls of the city and the home of the world-famous Fallas festival. Your guide will tell you all about the Roman and Islamic heritage of this great city as you pass by some of the main monuments. We’ll glide past the great Almudin and Almoina and stop for you to admire the beautiful Palace of Benicarlo, once home of the powerful Borgia family and now the seat of the Valencian Government.

We’ll continue to the wonderful baroque Basilica of Our Lady of the Forsakenand Valencia’s Cathedral, a veritable microcosm of the history of this proud city with Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque elements. Don’t miss the Micalet belfry, once the minaret of an Islamic mosque and now the symbol of Valencia. From here Cruise back to our starting point near the Torres de Quart, the impressive medieval gateway to the city.
